- A Very Special Shiba-Inu
Please meet Tia, The First Aid Dog!! She is a very special little girl and we really enjoy her antics during our classes. Tia is a Shiba-Inu, a Japanese breed that means “little dog”!.
Tia shares,usually steals, the stage with Karen Douglass as she walks you through the process of learning:
- learn basic first aid care
- a wellness exam
- emergency examination
- taking vital signs
- bleeding protocols
- chokeing management
- poison managment
We have a good time teaching a subject that we hope you will NEVER need to use; but just in case you must, you will have the knowledge and skill should you need them!
